Living in Step Africa (L.I.S.A) is an organization headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, that is devoted to informing and coaching stepparents and those who are dating partners with children.
Distressing “step” situations can occur without forewarning and because step relationships currently have no models; neither partner is prepared for the tensions which arise because of the children. At L.I.S.A we work with these people and help them learn, love and thrive in their stepfamilies.
I’m Wendy, from Nairobi, Kenya. I consider myself the most blessed person alive. I have an amazing husband and two wonderful stepchildren aged 16 and 12, a loving family, the most awesome friends, and a line of work that allows me to change the world, one step-family at a time.
Our mission is to inspire and guide YOU with the wisdom, tools and strategies to overcome daily challenges in stepfamily life. Failure is part of everyone’s journey in life, and at L.I.S.A the story we share is our failure as well as the lessons learned and then we delve into the steps took to turn this to take in order to enjoy stepfamily success.
